Hello everybody, and Cheeseh
Thank you, Cheeseh, for making rcbots even when you are at your hard time.

Finally I got one of its update working on my TF2, that is the old 2.0.5

Here's my problem:
I as usual, firstly installed the latest version of rcbot2 for tf2 (2.0.57) and found it not working.
(I read the instructions, please don't ask me the directories I am hell clear about them)

The HPB_Bot2.dll could be loaded but immediately after I type in "rcbot addbot" the game exits with "stopped working".

For this issue I tried all other updates and only found the old 2.0.5 working.

Furthermore, it seems the dll has problem, or maybe my version of TF2 has problem.
The old 2.0.5 dll can work properly with the new 2.0.57 files other than HPB_Bot2.dll

Does this mean my version of TF2 is too old ?
Will using the old dll affect the intelligence of bots ? (That's what I concern about)

Looking forward to your replies.
Thanks in advance.

What version of TF2 do you have? If you have pre scout update, that would answer the bot crashes. Do you have the official or no-steam version?

What Class updates do you have? This is one way to check the scoot update crash since the exe version doesn't help shit.

Hmm you mean whether my scouts have energy drink and those 3 new maps?
Yes they do. If this information isn't what you need please do blast at me

Yes, that one. The Scout update did some weird engine changes that screwed up RCbot2. There might also be some changes in the other updates that screw up the plugin but you have the no-steam version so you wouldn't get these updates the easy way, nor the fixes. So... Do you only have the Scout Update? If so, I'm saying you might have to stay on the version of RCbot that works for you. Sorry kid, I can't see the problem. The spybots don't sap and are a little dumber, but at least they work, right?

You mean the problem comes after the scout update, and I need to have a version before the scout's update ?
I'll try,
thanks for replying !
Bots work, but snipers get stuck at some points and aren't actually killing people unless they use weapon2.

Thanks a lot.

No, the scoot update crash occurs if you're using the latest version with a pre-scout update no-steam TF2.
