Cheeseh, Thanks for the great bot. I have been playing NS LAN games with rcbots since before rcbot v.29 (NS1.0). I've been visiting this site that long too, but just recently joined. I wanted to upload a waypoint for ns_prometheus to the forum, but I get the following error:

THE FOLLOWING ERROR(S) WERE FOUND
The requested file upload failed because suitable permissions have not been enabled on the 'uploads' directory. Please contact the board administrator and inform them of this error.

Have forum uploads been disabled on purpose? I tried to upload to the natural-selections waypoints, rcbot1 waypoints, & New waypoints forum D: threads. I didn't try the main waypoints page at the web site yet, because I wasn't sure my waypoint was finalized.

Also, has the forums been damaged? Most of the gif's don't display in my older browser (IE6, yuk I know, upgrade). The emoticons do display ok. I checked some of them in another program, and they seem to have damaged headers. Am I the only one having this problem?

I went fishing for a week & caught a few trout. I still want to upload this waypoint, so I tried the main website, but new registrations there don't seem to be working.

I get the following message: Error : No user, password or email specified!

Even though all fields were entered. I tried several times.

I have modified waypoints for svencoop, as well as natural selections that I could upload, but I don't seem to have permisions for attachments on the forum and the main website registration seems to be broken?

Help, please, anyone?

Could someone else confirm this problem by uploading a test attachment to the "rcbot1 waypoints" forum or "natural-selections waypoints" forum. It looks like its been well over a month since someone uploaded an attachment to any forum thread. Before I PM Cheeseh or someone at bots-united, i'd like to be sure there is a real problem here. Also, please check new registrations at the main website http://rcbot.bots-united.com/ , or if allready registered there, see if you can login...

I tried logging in, it didn't take my password. Then, when I tried forgot your password, it says my account doesn't exist.

You should try making a new account and trying that one again, if you intend to upload waypoints on the waypoints page.

Fillmore, thanks for the reply. I tried to register at the website page again, this time with a slightly different name & passwords, etc., but it still responds as if I submited blank entrys. Registration seems broken or disabled there? Sounds like you couldn't login there either...

I also tried to upload to the NS waypoints forum again. Tried a rcw and zip files, I get two different messages, the rcw returns: "Upload failed. You are not permitted to upload a file with that file extension". The zip returns the error in my first post.

Are you still able to upload attachments to the forums? I read over at the bots-united site that they just moved to a new server about a month ago, I don't think anyone has tried to upload to the forums here since then, except me. Is it possible these problems could be related to thier server move?

I will try to get access to a newer PC today & try again from there, but I don't think that will change anything. Perhaps uploads to the rcbot1 waypoints forums are disabled, but the rcbot2 forum uploads work?

Fillmore, if you have time, maybe you could reupload one of you're tf2 waypoints to the forums, just as a test? If not, no problem, I'll PM Cheeseh soon anyways...

Ok, I tried everything again from a different PC and got the same results. I also tried uploading a test attachment to an existing forum post in the rcbot2 waypoints thread. I got the same error as in my first post at the top. So it appears both waypoint forums (rcbot 1 & 2) won't allow uploads.

I'm sending cheeseh a PM now....

Everything at the rcbot site seems to be working now. I was able to upload my waypoint to the forum and register on the main website too. Also, the forums look right/correct in my browser, awesome.
