Can someone help me with the Path & Folders to make RCBot2 Work on Team Fortress 2 ?
My current paths are: Team Fortress 2: C:\Programas\Team Fortress 2 RCBot2: C:\Programas\Team Fortress 2\rcbot2 Config, Profiles, WayPoints all in the RCBot2 Folder, each of them on the correct folder Bot_Mods Ini: QUOTE # EXAMPLE MOD FILE# valid mod types # --------------- # CSS # TF2 # HL2DM # HL1DM # FF # SVENCOOP2 # TIMCOOP # NS2 # # valid bot types # --------------- # CSS # TF2 # HL2DM # HL1DM # FF # COOP # ZOMBIE # # #mod = CSS #steamdir = counter-strike source #gamedir = cstrike #bot = CSS # #mod = TF2 #steamdir = [psy] Team Fortress 2 #gamedir = tf #bot = TF2 # #mod = FF #steamdir = sourcemods #gamedir = ff #bot = FF # #mod = HL2DM #steamdir = half-life 2 deathmatch #gamedir = hl2mp #bot = HL2DM # #mod = HL1DM #steamdir = half-life 1 deathmatch #gamedir = hl1dm #bot = HL1DM # mod = CUSTOM steamdir = day of defeat source gamedir = dod bot = CSS # mod = TF2 steamdir = orangebox gamedir = tf bot = TF2 So what am i doing wrong ? It does load the plugin right, but the bots don't seem to move (I have been trying the correct maps for the WayPoints i have). Thank you in Advance ! |

Put the RCBot folder in a directory above the "root" folder (the folder tf is a subfolder within it) - it might work, although the library could just as easily search for a folder through an environment variable - and since you're not using a legit version of TF2, it'll most probably depend on the patch you use. In the end, it's better to use a patch for Steam itself rather than a standalone, but I won't elaborate. You won't have to edit any configuration files at all.
