I have NS 3.0, rcbot 1.2, the latest whichbot and the latest metamod for ns. I finally got the waypoints working by renaming the waypoints folder to nsp. My problem now is they won't join and won't attack anything. Whichbots works fine though, even on co maps. Is there anyway i can fix this so that i could make or update waypoints? thanks.

thats a bug that i fixed a while back, see my post

Because of that memory overwrite thing in the current version bots will not attack sometimes either. I've also noticed a crash bug which I've fixed that happens in NS only if the bot wants to shoot an enemy near the start of the game. This stuff could affect the bots ability to change weapon.

will be on the next release tho

ps the current bot wont work with NS 3 which means they wont join any team because they dont think its NS because the mod folder is different.

Also, I'm not sure if cheeseh did or not but I know I sure didn't waypoint any of the co maps yet. Do you have rcbot waypoints for those co maps? If so, I would sure like to see them.

I have only done co_angst at the moment...

I am going to relase this new version within about 10 minutes maybe!

I'll just make another version later with stuff for NS combat as I am just waiting for Flayra to reply to my messages about how the ns combat mode works.

They aren't suited for combat maps still at the moment, especially the aliens, the marines are best at the combat maps because they rush toward hive and aliens camp around hive.

Yeah, I made waypoints for some co maps just basically try out combat. But I wouldnt know if it works completely since the bots wouldnt attack yet, they just roam around the map and others wouldnt wanna join. But like cheeseh said, a working version will be out soon so i guess i'll just wait. I'll post them when the working version gets released.

I just finished testing out rcbot 1.3 and I'm glad they finally attacked laugh.gif
Though the alien bots didnt really put much effort on attacking the cc, I had a good game playing combat biggrin.gif . It's a big improvement from the last version and I love how they follow the waypont on this one. But I hope in the future releases, the ladder bug would be fixed.

Here are quick waypoints for co_kestrel i made while i was playing. I havent optimized it yet but what the hell. I'll update it tomorrow and post some more of the combat waypoints i made.
