I run Battlegrounds and every other thing through STEAM

I download rc bot to
D:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\jamesbarrock@aol.com\half-life\rcbot

Which the the HL directory in steam
The ORIGIONAL HL directory is D:\Sierra\Half-Life

Hhhhokay so the RCBOT folder is here
D:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\jamesbarrock@aol.com\half-life\rcbot

The liblist file for Battlegrounds is here
D:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\jamesbarrock@aol.com\half-life\bg

Its a notepad file

Before edited the liblist looks like this

AFTER I change the Gamedll the liblist looks like this (only showing below nomodels to save space)

Ok now the liblist is set with the dll (COOKIE)***

I run steam start up Battle grounds
I go to start a server
I click start nothing happens
I try it again, half life crashes followed by kernel 32 leaving me with a terrible resolution in which i cant see anything untill i restart my comp.

I looked at the faq for server crashing but i cant figure it out i have tried putting RCBOT in D:\Sierra\Halflife as well but it didnt work! I have also tried editing liblist to D:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\jamesbarrock@aol.com\half-life\rcbot\dlls\rcbot.dll

and the same problem occurs, the rcbot.dll is there because i have searched it and it appears there

WTF is wrong!

RCbot crashes servers running DeathMatch Classic under steam to. Sorry, no fix yet.

Dammit i said running Battlegrounds not DMC

it helps if you put a directory identifier ( '/' )where there should be one..

gamedll "..dlls/rcbot.dll"

should be

gamedll "../dlls/rcbot.dll"

btw the bot does work in steam DMC with the -dll command line option doesnt it?

I must add a new thing to the FAQ which says... "FOR THE LOVE OF GOD CHECK YOU HAVEN'T MADE A MISTAKE IN LIBLIST.GAM... REALLY... CHECK... PLEASE."

You didnt tell me you had to buut the dll in the dll folder of the mod -.- its fixed now

well i did move the rcbot folder to the mod dll folder and it works now so nyah!

problem is, now, the config files wont load. keep it simple, only have one rcbot folder in the hl folder, nowhere else!! As long as you point to the rcbot.dll file correctly it will work. simple?
