The marines don't upgrade any stats. the aliens will evolve, but they don't upgrade any stats either :-P what's up with that

You know you CAN search for it, and if you really wana know, rcbot was made for ns2.0 and SOME of the features of ns3.0B and it doesn't support combat

Trebuchet, what kind of "stats" are you referring to? I run RCBOT 1.3 with Natural Selection v3.0 Beta 3 COMBAT only and don't really have any issues except for Waypoints which are slowly coming together. I do much statistical data with the live players as well as the Bots, which do rank in my statistics. Give me some detail on what you are looking for.
