Hiya dudes! I hope this will help all those NS geeks out there facing problems. Firstly , the command for marines to build is "rcbot config marine_auto_build 1" This will make the marines build the portal. But sometimes it doesnt work at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!SO firstly u join the marines and build a portal and go back to aliens. Secondly, the bots are "dumb". They will not be commander and build things most of the time so either u become marine or u want a challenge, build all advance buildings for marines b4 switching back to aliens

Aliens problems. Aliens always seem to win becuz they have advantage over the bots. LOLZ! Look at the top. Plus the bots aliens cannot transform into ONOS cuz there are no codes embedded in RCbot so Cheeseh plz faster!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anymorwe problems reply in this thread plz biggrin.gif

OH yea. Bots dont move in some maps. Even with waypoints. ONe is either u freakin' put the waypoints in wrong foler or u really face the problems.

I will try. Firstly , plz provide information as wad map and where u downloaded from cuz some websites their waypoints are no good at all biggrin.gif Secondly, wad is the format of the file and thirdly, send the file to me so that i could examine it and try out.
Proably, the waypoint file does not work with the current version of RCbot or.... U freakin' wrote the waypoint urself. DID i mention I AM A WAYPOINTER? Kool! cool.gif rolleyes.gif blink.gif

some waypoints done for maps are old or they worked okay for the old bot because the new bot is more dependant on waypoints, and need waypoints nearby them, if they can't find any when they just spawn then they wont move... and they will just stay at their spawn point rolleyes.gif

If your having a problem with a NS waypoint that come with rcbot v1.3 ( bot's don't move ) then please tell me which map it was for and I will look it over.

I did all of the NS 3.0b1 standerd maps but some of them got changed in NS 3.0b3 and may not work at all. ns_hera is one of them that got radicly changed in the beta3 patch.

Sure I could but what I do is not much different then what you read about in the rcbot waypointing guide. That's if you read it at all. Your best bet (if you want to learn from me) is look at my latest waypoints for ns_nothing, ns_eclipse or ns_tanith. ns_tanith being my best work. Those maps will give you a good idea of what rcbot needs to navigate a map well.
