I,m renting a server. And i need to know how to install.

It has no half-life dir!

Cant you tell me where to place the files?

It is a steam server! and has metamod.

well its the folder (or directory) above that of the mod folder, if it allows you to install there then put it there,

read the pinned posts in install problems forum

OK i got it in. But 2 things.

1) When i enter my pass i have level 10 set. and i cant work any of the commands.
It says i don't have access to that command.

2) they wont join. Do i need to put a config in the ns folder?"by ns folder i mean the one in the rcbot not hl ns" And what do i name it?



This is what i want. 4 bots to join, 2 on each side "ns btw" and when a person joins 1 leaves. So if 4 people join they will all leave.


Any one know what i need to do?

1. you proabably forgot to use "rcbot set_pass" read the readme on it

2. "gamedll" is the only thing you need to change in liblist and you havent shown it, you;ve already got it up anyway jusdt abouit if you tried the rcbot commands .

No I used rcbot set_pass it accepted it. what level should i use?

If it accepted it then it worked and you can just type

"rcbot <commands>"
