I just got the new rcbot 1.3 and when i tried to play battlegrounds it started normally but when i typed rcbot addbot it said unknown command. I checked my waypoints folder and it had all of the maps and waypoint. I dont have the latest metamod version (dont know if that matters). If anyone could help me I would appreciate it. Thank you

You probably installed it in the wrong folder. Make sure the rcbot folder is in the half-life folder and not in the mods folder.

I checked and it is in the Halflife folder. I also tryed to play the other mods that are bot support and they dont work nither.

Did you edit the liblist.gam for the mods you wanna use rcbots with? For non-metamod:
Open the liblist.gam file and then edit the line: gamedll "<MOD_DLL>" to gamedll "../rcbot/dlls/rcbot.dll" |

How do i know if i have metamod or nonmetamod( i Got the file from rcbot website)

Rcbot 1.3 has both metamod and stand alone. Most probably you have the right file.

i did a scan for metamod on my rcbot file and it didnt show up with metamod.

My BG bots work, but they jump up and down like crazy men all the time
 Got all the waypoints and stuff, And im running it on WON. |

read the FAQ, if you have put two 'gamedll' lines in the liblist.gam file then it will say unknown command "rcbot" when you type it. you should only have the bot dll in the gamedll line, OR if using metamod, the metamod dll and only ONE rcbotdll listing in metamod's plugins.ini

yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I got the bots to work. That you BigBadWoLf, Cheeseh, Laguna. I had two game dll files and i deleted one and it works now. Thank you so much.

I think the current bot only works for steam.

its really old stuff like cannons and really old guns and stuff
 I am quite new to it aswell myself and haven't played it much except playtesting the bots |

I can't fix this bug, it's a problem in WON bg, I don't know why. Steam must had fixed it some how. It's the same bug I was talking about before releasing that the bots would only move really slow or not at all.
The bots are trying to move (yes they are) but they don't. There is nothing in the bot code which is causing the problem. |
