Dont take this as offence, but im no newb at stuff like this :/ I checked the FAQ, Help files, ReadMe, Documentations, whent through google/yahoo and msn search looking for people with similar problem(s) - asked around in IRC, played about with different configurations/settings, spent about 3 hours playing about with it and still never getting it working....

your name MUST be "scF.ns > Ghozer < [OwP]" without quotes and its case sensitive

My in-game name is
scF.ns > Ghozer < [OwP]
EXACTLY how it is in the bot_users.ini
i also added "Ghozer" (different pass)
and tried Ghozer as my nick in game..

I also tried this with another user.. (not me) and they ahve the same problem.

probably it isn't reading the bot_users.ini at all, are you sure you installed to the correct folder? bot_users.ini should be in half-life/rcbot/bot_users.ini and must have read permissions (if using linux)

its installed in

G:\Server\nsp\addons\rcbot\
\botprofiles\
\dlls\
\map_configs\
\waypoints\

and thats where all RCBot config/txt files are,

Metamod = G:\Server\nsp\addons\metamod\

the metamod "plugins.ini" reads
win32 addons\rcbot\rcbot_mm.dll

You just answered your own question. You have mistakenly put the rcbot folder in the wrong directory. I'm amazed it even ran at all.

Your rcbot folder should be here.....
QUOTE
G:\hlserver\rcbot

This was taken from the rcbot_readme.txt so I assume you read this as well.

QUOTE

1. Install

First of all EXTRACT all files into the Half-Life Folder, it should create a
folder called rcbot inside HL folder with all the files in it.

REMEMBER : Extract it to Half-Life folder ONLY, NOT the MOD folder i.e.
bot files must be in Half-Life/rcbot

BTW, no offense taken. I just saw you where a newly signed user to the forum and just assumed you didn't read everything. My mistake if I was wrong.

I have now got it working only to find several bugs with the bot... and think up several suggestions on features/additions and changes...
