At the NS 2.1, when I want to play as an alien, The marines can't become a commander and can't build an Infantry Portal. When we killed marines, the game finishes. Am I installed wrong? Or you don't programmed the marines to become a commander?

the bots can't go commander, if you want tto make an infantry portal at the start, look at the bot FAQ http://rcbot.bots-united.com/faq.htm

Thanks.
In later versions of the RCBot, did you going to write a code for marine bots to become a commander and make their own strategies? |

I've got pretty basic commander code ready, but the fact is I don't know how to get a bot commander to select things, build things, it just seems it can't be done unless you can some how simulate a bots mouse, which seems like it also can't be done. The easiest way to do it is for the developers of NS to provide some API into the command console functions.

I remember when RCBOT used to comm and drop stuff all over the map. It never costed marines res either.
Maybe somehow you could use a grid reference of the map to allow them to place buildings in the right spot? |
