Hi , I don t know how to start RC bots , I ve follow alls the installation instructions but, when I create a server there is no bots ....... How can I insert the bots ?????

You didn't say if it was a listenserver ( LAN ) or dedicated server. Also you were not spacific enough to say if rcbot was or was not even running. Need a little more information in order to help you.

I m trying to play with rcbots in a personal internet server (server in my computer) and rcbot was not even running cause I don t know how to set it on ......

Your post is great cause for the first time I ve install rcbots correctly, but ( ) I don t know how to play with the bots !!.....

OHH! Okay, then try this....

Open your console and type: rcbot addbot

You can also add a 1 or a 2 at the end to signify which team you want them to join.

1 = marine
2 = alien

So if you want to add an alien bot, you would type: rcbot addbot 2.

Thx !!!!causz I thought the config was the same that ESF (config the bots in the server creation)

New probleme ........I can t create an local server , I press create a server , I can configure but when I press start , or I see the menu and the game never start or the game exit is self ...................

Hummm. That sounds as if you made a mistake with the loading of metamod. Check your liblist.gam file for errors. Spelling is usually the #1 reason why that happens. Also, check to be sure you have metamod in it's proper location.

for you, there should be a folder called

D:\Archivos de programa\Valve\SteamApps\"mymail"\half-life\rcbot

which should hold botprofiles & waypoints folder (etc...) inside

If using metamod, the rcbot dll file to use is rcbot_mm.dll
If not using metamod, the rcbot dll file to use is rcbot.dll

I downloaded the rcbotbeta full and there is no file named rcbots so I created the file in half-life and I isnerted all the rcbot beta full files
