I try to rcbot addbot on the server console nothing

I go in game use the rcbot set_pass says ok....

then try add bots in game says i dont have access.

it should be called "rcbot_folder.ini" not "bot_folder.ini"

(should fix most problems)

OK changed that and installed rcbot from scratch also to make sure. Its not working at all now when in game and doing the rcbot <command> it says it doesn't exist now before it said i didn't have access.

OK found out what I did wrong in metamod plugins.ini had dll pointed to rbot.dll in stead of rcbot_mm.dll

Here is what im running into now

This is what I get when I do rcbot addbot from console

[RCBOT>] Adding Bot...
[RCBOT>] Error: No Bot Profiles have been found that are free...
[RCBOT>] The bot command addbot returned an error!

This is what I get when trying to addbot in game

Could not establish connection to Steam servers.

Here is what i have in my users.ini
"EL WAPO" 63 <steam-id> I dont have a password set so do i need the * ?

did you rename bot_folder.ini to rcbot_folder.ini in the ns folder like i said?

bah..

it means it still cant find the rcbot folder... maybe it cant find the rcbot_folder.ini aswell now ! or it in the wrong working directory

I have looked at the 3.1x install directions over and over I cannot see what is wrong. Right now this is the last thing holding me back. Ive installed amx with some plugins, metamod, and whichbot.

ns\addons\rcbot should be in your rcbot_folder.ini NOT addons\rcbot.. should only have one aswell that should be in the ns directory only. it is always got to bne the relative folder from the HL directory (as i say in the beta dll thread)

The main problem is it still is not finding the rcbot folder. so Metamod is set-up properly, obvisouly there is something wrong with the rcbot_folder.ini. remember this will only work with BETA dlls

WOOT its working your right I misunderstood the directions. Now I can add a bot ill have to mess around to see if I can add bots in game but I think ill do ok.
