File Problems Options

Hey guys

I'm having problems, I'm trying to download a file off your site, but when i click the link, the file opens, instead of asking me where to save it

i cant right click -> save as because the link points to index.php so i cant get the file at the moment

there's probably a problem with the mime types

I think it's with the naming conventions or something, cause instead of putting up the actual file name it puts up a dynamic url to it.

should be like /forums/files/waypoints.zip or something

But, if you go ahead and right click it, click save as, and rename "index.php.html" or whatever to like "spoot.zip" it should work fine. It gives you a bogus name but the data's still there.

just tried it with IE, and it seemed to work.. better... so it may be some javascript problem with IPB and FF, cause FF's javascript implementation sucks.

ok cheers, that seemed to work, annoying though - btw i had the same problem FF or IE
