Pepois Hey this version just adds the noallies/noaxis type on breakables bots wont shoot unless they have at least one more explosive in their inventory and they wont shoot it unless they are a little distance away to stop them from blowing themselves up |

Hey this version just adds the noallies/noaxis type on breakables bots wont shoot unless they have at least one more explosive in their inventory and they wont shoot it unless they are a little distance away to stop them from blowing themselves up Hi Cheeseh, I took the time to give your new rcbot2 0.75 r2 a try today and yes!, bots will definitely shoot at breakable wpts according to the noallies/noaxis tag. I did notice that not only the rocket class will fire at breakable wpts but other classes too (maybe those that have grenades) thou they will also shoot at it with their guns etc. but its way better than before where everyone would shoot at it and almost run out of ammunition etc. However, I still see rockets missing the target by a large margin. I don't know if bots' AIM SKILL in the launcher plays a big role on this or does RCBOT_AIMSMOOTING 1 or RCBOT_SKILL 0.6 in the config file? I haven't tweaked any profiles or bots, I just have been using rcbot2 with its default settings. If you could help rocket bots aim without missing the target... it would be great!!! or if it could be controlled on the aim skill or config.ini settings... that would do the trick too. Anyway, thank you for all the effort. Your rcbot2 is the best by far! - EDITED- I did go and tweaked the config.ini file and the bot profiles to improve bots' aim_skill but didn't help! Septien |
