visionticks = 1 to 1024 (max edicts) (40 is a good default value) > are CPU intensive

that means at 40, bots will scan 40 edicts every 0.04 seconds; bots will scan every edict in the map in about 2 seconds, that means the bots have at maximum a 1 second reaction time to visible and invisible edicts (such as monsters or teleporters/dispensers) in the worst case

visionticks_clients 1 to 32 (max players) > are CPU intensive

this is separate from the above because players are more important than other edicts in the game
1 means bots will only see 1 other player every 0.04 seconds, 32 means the bots will scan every player at once in a 32 player game, (very cpu intensive)

pathticks = 1 to (anything your computer can handle at once) 40 is a good default value
braveness = 0 to 100 (0 % to 100%)
sensitivity = 1 to 20 (20 is a lot...)
aimskill = 0 to 100

braveness = 0.0 to 1.0 (0 % to 100%)
aimskill = 0.0 to 1.0

I'm a little confused here as which one should be written in the profiles?

braveness = 100
aimskill = 100

or

braveness = 1.0
aimskill = 1.0

0.0 = 0%
1.0 = 100%

i.e. 0.0 to 1.0 = (0% to 100%)
so..
braveness = 1.0
aimskill = 1.0

Sorry to bring this up again, but now I'm a bit confused blink.gif ! Is the information for aimskill & braveness wrong in this post?

http://rcbot.bots-united.com/forums/index....hl=your+profile

It shows 0 to 100 for those settings, and all our profiles are set according to that!

Are you saying it can be entered either way in profiles? If we enter it as a fraction (say 0.8), then that is the same as entering a whole number (80), which rcbot recognizes as a percentage (80%), 0.8 = 80 = 80%.

madmax2 profile
denseness = 100%
