First, NOsteam is NOT supported by the developers/programers, but it might work depending on what you have? The latest metamod versions (1.0) did NOT work with the dods version I have (Feb. 2013). But some NON-metamod versions did work... See these posts...
This post just before your post has guides for NON-metamod nosteam install... http://rcbot.bots-united.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=1983 My NON-metamod guide is here... http://rcbot.bots-united.com/forums/index....ost&p=13764 genmacs rcbot NON-metamod files are provided too... http://rcbot.bots-united.com/forums/index....ost&p=13764 Keep in mind, if your dods is Sep 2015 or newer then it WON't work with any non-metamod rcbot versions (0.96 or older). To run the latest metamod rcbots (0.98 or newer) you probably need a dods/tf2 version dated Sep 2015 or newer. But I can't confirm this will work? If your dods/tf2 is older than Sep 2015, then you probably have to use the NON-metamod (native) versions of rcbot2. Also, the Launcher won't work with NOsteam, you must set the bots up manually and use a shortcut to launch, see my guide... And the installer did not work for me, but that could of been a problem with my old XP install. But, Expect to do manual install too... For dedi, install should be about the same as steam dedi installs, just folders names will be different. You should be able to use the steam guides for that... ======================== Please, no more new topics on Nosteam installs, Thankyou.... |
