I am running a linux server and everything is installed correctly. I use "rcbot set_pass mypass" then try to use rcbot addbot and I get
[RCBOT>] You do not have access to this command..

I went into bot_users.ini and added my "in-game name" password 10

I don't know what the access level and no faqs give info for admin access.

This was taken from the rcbot_readme.txt.

5. Admin Use

If you want to have access to bot commands on a dedicated server or another server
you must set up your name and password on the bot_users.ini file on the server.

Open and read the bot_users.ini file for details on how to make a user.

Then whilst in the game your name must be that same name as written in the config file,
and type the command

rcbot set_pass <your password in bot_users.ini file>

this will authenticate you and if successful you should have access to the bot commands
with the access level written in the bot_users.ini next to your name & password.

You enter your info in the bot_users.ini. Once you get that done, change the map or start the server, join the server, open your console and type: rcbot set_pass <password> Sounds pretty simple to me although I have never used it. But alas Zang, you are correct about one thing. I to would like to see some more info on access levels please.
