As my title would imply, is there any way to make it so the RCBots can't join the alien team?

Yes and here is how to do it. Go to your rcbot/map_config/mod-of-choise folder ( in this case, we are using ns ) and create map spacific configs for each map your going to play. If your using ns 3.0 beta, the folder name will be nsp. example: ns_bast.cfg ns_eclipse.cfg ns_nothing.cfg You get the idea so far? Next, edit your map spacific configs so they contain the rcbot commands you want used on each map. In this paticular situation, we want 5 rcbot marines and no rcbot aliens. Your map config would look something like this:
Anything on the same line following the # symble is ignored by the HL engine and there-for, will not be used. |
