1) Yeah, that's right. Bots can't handle this kind of map alone. Administrators will be up to thier eye balls, fishing the bots out of trouble areas constantly. I'm sure even you can understand that, right?
2) The waypointing editor intergreted in the rcbot dll. What do you use?
3) Sure but the the problem is, the bots don't wait long enough. They wait for ten seconds at a wait_for_lift waypoint but the thing is, that bridge takes over twenty seconds to open and there is no way out once you fall in the pit unless your a human playing as a skulk, lerk, fade or jetpacker. Look, I tried my best with every trick I know with the current release of both rcbot and whichbot to get them to reach "any" destination but in my opinion, I don't think that there currently is an NS bot that can run this technical of a map reliably. If ANYONE feels that they can waypoint this map so that the bots will travel the map end to end with at least an 80% chance of reliability then be my guest. I can't get that kind of results with a map like this. |
