Alright, now I haven't really played on any servers other than my own in like months, and I went to go play on Grunts server, and steam hangs at "Verifying and downloading resources..."
So I went to a few different servers, and they're all doing it! So then I uninstalled and reinstalled steam completely, and they're STILL doing it, what in the hell! Anyone know how to fix this crap before I go nuts? ...more nuts than I already am anyhow. |

you got a BEFSR41, me too.
I heard the latest firmware f***ed up HL. I found a fix: http://www.dslreports.com/forum/remark,10738901~mode=flat i.e. just shove in an extra +clientport 27006 into command line when you run. worked for me so far.. damn linksys  |
