hello i like the rcbot its a pretty good bot
i got NS a few days ago and cant really play it online got dial up so my ping is around 300s and makes this game HARD so i got bots there fun i been playign them on COMBAT maps because i cant play NS maps with out being the commander the marines just all die and the game ends i want to be aliens on these maps so is there any way to get the bots to be a commander or do somthing so i dont gotta be the commander or is the possible ??? if not i guess im stuck on COMBAT maps i like NS maps better though (the bots upgrade faster and there turrets and things) any info would be cool good work on the bot anyways -Count [EDIT] sorry but i was messing with the bots and saw the command marine_auto_build but i cant get it to work??? i type rcbot config in the console and it saids it got an error how do i get that command to work ?? thanks again |

This is just food for thought but back with WON, you could use a local info command in your shortcut target line. What this does is loads another dll file before the mod.dll. I have no clue if this still works for steam but you can give it a try. Right click on your ns desktop shortcut and select "properties". You should see something like this in the "Target:" line....
What you would do is add your local info to the end like this....
Something like this would in-turn, load the stand alone rcbot first then execute the ns.dll or metamod.dll depending on your liblist.gam configuration. In theary, it should still work. |
