Hi,
I really need help with the rcbot installation. I have managed to download the rcbot for windows, and now need to install it. i have tried this once before but it failed to work. It would be really cool if some body could answer the next few questions. plz dont forget that i am a rookie at this stuff.LOL 1. Do i need to zip the rcbot files into the: Sierra folder, the half life folder or the counter strike folder? 2. when i search the folder for liblist.gam file then it shows many, what file is it that i have to change? 3. when i open the liblist.gam file then do i need to get rid of the linux line if i am using windows. thanks |

1.) You need to unzip rcbot into your "half-life" folder for any and all 3rd party HL mods such as Natural Selection, Sven Co-op or of course, Rocket Crowbar. 2.) Grunnnt is pretty much right here. Locate the liblist.gam file with-in the mod your intending to install rcbot's for. So if it's Natural Selection, look in your ns folder. 3.) It may save you about a half a second in loading time by deleting unsupported driver run lines but it's not nessisary. You don't need to delete them but you can if you want to. Just as Grunnnt noted, windows will ignore linux files and visa versa. |
