Problems with bot behavior, (not install..I think) Options

So I've got everything installed correctly as far as I can tell, and im using the bots for Natural Selection. I updated the waypoints as much as possible, but the bots still are worthless. I've been mostly testing it in combat mode. The marine bots will shoot and sort of attack, but they do so poorly and don't use any of their level-up skill points as far as I can tell. The aliens run around and will jump around you but don't bite or anything. I have looked the the configuration settings and whatnot but can't find anything adressing the aliens not attacking. I did change the skill level of the bots in the bot profiles but that diden't seem to do much of anything. Also, in NS mode, marines do not build. Anyone know?
