Couple NS Errors/Problems Options

Gorges attack their teammates but not the enemy by spitting, most aliens can't seem to attack at all, and neither side upgrades very much beyond the first couple items...

next problem, and the more important one especially in combat mode, they just stand there, they need to be independent sometimes, how can I turn squad mode off unless someones MAKES them join a squad by doing the make squad command? I want the bots to just follow the bloody waypoints and do their thing rather than rely on a player, they shouldn't have to have a player to follow if they have waypoints.

I'm also still a bit fuzzy on ladders, if someone has a better explanation of how to waypoint ladders, that'd be great, and it auto makes the waypoint on a ladder a ladder waypoint, how do I make it normal again like the ladder tutorial says??

Help on that stuff would be great, thanks!
