This is an issue all bots are having on dedicated servers. RCbot seems to be the worst, but who else is experiencing overflow problems when using RCBot, Hivemind or Whichbot? I'm admin of a New Zealand server running hivemind, and every so often I get kicked due to Reliable overflow. This seems to happen more with RCbot, anyone got any ideas?

Actually, reliable overflows could be caused by to many net messages ( console giberish ) or to many sounds from poorly constructed amxmod, adminmod and/or metamod plugins on maps that are already pushing the hl engine to the limit.
Does this happen on any map or just certain maps? What is the actual overflow message? Skitchy, I have a Linksys router ( model WRT54G ) and I have never seen any reliable channel overflows caused by it. I use to get them alot on one spacific server but that was because of a botched amxmod plugin which has been long since fixed. |
