I wanted to know if you can make rcbot work on mvsm mod for ns
i have the mod on listen server with rcbot when i create the bot they join the first (blue) team only. so i join the second (red) team(which is actually 3rd team i think) the problems are: 1. even if i'm in second team the bots on first team dose not shoot at me. they just come close to me and say "i'm in position". 2. the bots join the red team(again it's 3rd team) after a round or so, but they remain frozen. These are the problems i see. i just wondered if it could be made possible. if you want to know more about mvsm, play on server named richnet mvm or visit this link: http://www.nsmod.org/forums/index.php?show...910&hl=allinone ty by the way your bots are awesome (for alien vs marine) ![]() |

I stopped developing support for MvM and AvA for a few weeks, only a few days ago i recently got back into it since AvA was released. It seems that Khat plugin for AvA might of changed or i might of not coded AvA correct as they dont worry correctly in AvA mode so i am currently addressing this issue.
Since i last released the MvM version, i have formated my machine (no i havent lost any of the source code ![]() For the Windows based compiling i am using Visual C++ 6 with SP5, this is the error i am getting and i would be greatful if anyone could easily solve it or remind me what to do to fix it. Error Start: Linking... Creating library HPB_bot___Win32_MetaMod_Release/HPB_bot.lib and object HPB_bot___Win32_MetaMod_Release/HPB_bot.exp Copying to DLL folder(s) The system cannot find the path specified. 0 file(s) copied. The system cannot find the path specified. 0 file(s) copied. Error executing c:\windows\system32\cmd.exe. Creating browse info file... HPB_bot.dll - 1 error(s), 0 warning(s) Error End: Even though i cannot compile and test the new version of the bots, i will continue to code as i presume most of my code is correct until tested otherwise. I will see what i can do about a Linux version, please keep in mind i do not use Linux NS servers so i cannot be 100% sure it will work correctly as i cannot test it, thus i would recommended putting the bots on a test server instead of a public server, either that or make sure you backup the .dll file or what ever Linux uses as the main RCbot file. If someone could figuar out what i am doing wrong i would be very greatful ![]() |
