A friend gave me a link to this game. I already got the dedicated server running and I even installed the RCBOT2 ^^ Well just wanted to test I can install the bot to this mod and even add bots. I did not even think it would work on this mod and it doesn't smile.gif

So could there be a bot-support for this mod also?

I'm working on a version of the bot that allows you to add support for any mod provided there is a sufficient bot code for it. Soon you will be able to select which bot is best for the MOD you want. Im on holiday just now and wont be back for a week and a few days so cant code it just now.

I guess if you are interested I will make a new .ini file with the bot which will look something like..

# halflife 2 deathmatch
[HL2DM]
steampath = "Half-life 2 deathmatch"
gamepath = "hl2mp"
bot = HL2DM
# halflife deathmatch source
[HLDMS]
steampath = "Half-life Deathmatch source"
gamepath = "hl1mp"
bot = HL1DM
[TF2]
steampath="Team Fortress 2"
gamepath="tf2"
bot = TF2

---------

new bot for zombie panic will look like:

[CUSTOM]
steampath = "Zombie Panic"
gamepath = "zombiepanic"
bot = COOP

------

several bot types will be available such as TF2, HL2DM, FF, HL1DMS, SVENCOOP2, NS2, ZOMBIE, COOP

basically it means you could let the bot play HL2DM thinking it is a COOP game (all allies fighting monsters)
also you can add any MOD and let the bot play it like a COOP game

I didnt think RCBOT supported bots for TF2, i look forward to a new release when it does smile.gif

I could never get the plugin to load correctly, produced an error on startup which stopped development. It compiled right, but TF2 wouldnt run it correctly, kept saying not found even though the paths are correct. But i look forward to a all round bot which would be able to work with any mod smile.gif
