Hey Cheeseh, any plans for developing a bot for eternal silence, just tried the new version 3 and am quite impressed, just as usual there arent enough ppl playing it smile.gif

it doesnt look like the devs care at all about bots, and without an interface for the bots to use to get data you have to make things all hacky and it sucks. so unless they create some api's that let you interface with their DLL, it takes twice as long and its ten times as crashy as it would be otherwise.

plus, cheeseh's too busy at the moment to work on anything, so the magic 8-ball says "outlook is not good"

I'm still waiting on valve to implement their improved bot interface. there was word they are working on it, but god knows when it will be complete. I can't really make a proper bot without it. HL2 bots are still very buggy at the moment also, e.g. with physics etc for some reason. Whenever this happens though and I get the time I will definetly have a look with as many mods as possible using my "add your own mod" scheme which allows the user to select the best "bot type" to work with any mod of their choice. that will add more versatility and reduce complication of code for me. rolleyes.gif
