RCBot2 For TF2 Alpha Test (Not working with Scout Update) Options

Test RCBot 2 Alpha with TF2

- Create Waypoints
- Think of new additions to the bot
- Find bugs

there is no support given for it right now, all the details (very little) to use are on the download page.

i.e. If you don't know how to use it, don't try just now!!

RCBOT 2 Alpha 0.3 for TF2

Put "rcbot2" folder in "Steam\steamapps\<your email>\" folder

Put "HPB_Bot2.dll" into "Steam\steamapps\paul.murphy@ntlworld.com\team fortress 2\bin" folder

Run Team Fortress 2 with "-console" enabled (Or goto Options, Keyboard, Advance, Enable Developer Console)

Type plugin_load "..\bin\HPB_Bot2"

Create a server with a CTF map (ctf_2fort / ctf_well / ctf_turbine)

When map started, Open console and type "rcbot addbot" or "rcbot addbot <class number>"

Class numbers:

1 = scout
2 = sniper
3 = soldier
4 = demoman
5 = medic ( Bugs )
6 = hwguy
7 = pyro ( Bugs )
8 = Spy
9 = Engineer

(There are many bugs)



the SVN is always up to date

Also note: This version should work with Orange Box HL2DM and also fixes some bugs

well i added defend waypoints, these are places for soliders/pyros/demomen/hwguys to stand about and wait for enemies Etc...

i changed the rocket jumping again... to make it work better. lets hope..

I changed the engi's, they build tele's and upgrade disps / teles and heal their own sentries. They also hang around their sentry to look after it if they have nothing else to do.

still to fix/add a few things before i'm happy with another beta release maybe
