I downloaded MegaHAL and RCBot, but have no idea how to put the two together. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I also searched the interwebs as much as possible, and came up with nothing.

hmm. What are you planning to do? You can only integrate MegaHAL with RCBot if you edit the rcbot 2 source code and integrate the megaHAL code with the HL 2 engine

I was just looking to make them talk. How would one go about editing the source code to include megaHAL?

one hell of a feat, I cannot explain , it would be me more or less doing it myself. It would require some knowledge of both the HL 2 Plugin engine and the plugin itself, with capturing text messages and feeding them into the MegaHAL engine, then seeing if any bots want to reply and then use the response generated from megaHAL to issue a fake "say" message. However megaHAL requires a learning library of text and a generated brain for each bot (or every bot if you want them to be the same). Also when text messages are captured the megaHAL needs to learn from the incoming messages. The SVN is on the sourceforge project page
