EDIT: I found a workaround for this by using a 3rd party SM plugin to sanitize the players with names that begin with (1).
Hi, First of all: Great ***king work. This is so awesome. We've needed TF2 bots for so long, and RCBot2 is remarkable, especially considering the limited cooperation with valve. My question is this: How do I control the bot names either statically, or if left as is, where they are random, can we add a small conditional statement that retries the bot profile pool and 'ignores' profiles already in use? The problem is that I am ending up with something like this: l33tplaya (1)l33tplaya someothername (2)l33tplaya (1)someothername (2)someothername blah foo (3)someothername I've tried adding more profiles than needed to leverage the chance of the random hitting one that's not in use, but such undertaking is neither consistent nor effective. I am running a 32 slot TF server, which isn't public until I sort this out, but if you want an example of what I mean, I'll list the password below: 174.36.178.227:27015 password: QQ Thanks for any suggestions or tips on this. |
