While screwing around with sourcemod on my listen server I decided to load up ZF with Rcbots running..... and well biggrin.gif it was a nice succes. There are a few problems like for example the bots will maintain a nutral/civillian pose until they get into attack range, also after like the first round scouts and heavies will NOT use melee and all the survivors will have mucked up weaponry. I think that is caused because the bots are being forced to play a certain class, which would explain the pyros with spy weapons and engineers with miniguns.
Any how heres a demo file of them in action, I had 31 bots ingame at the time : http://www.mediafire.com/?nj3l5tgk2nm I think the only way to fix it would be to allow the bots to change class >.< I might try and test Zombie fortress out with version 0.52 just to see if there is any difference. Also Rcbot2 works quiet well with the hunted plugin biggrin.gif which was quiet a laugh I must admit Keep up the good work Cheeseh ![]() PS: if anyone would gladly like to help assist in waypointing a few ZF maps it would be grately appreciated, we really want to see if we can have Rcbot zombies on GFL for when the numbers get low -LoneWolf1729 |
