Firstly, I do not know how many of the members in this forum are interested in competitive tf2 or are already playing competitively, but hear me out.
Ive been through a bunch of clans and have alot of competitive experience myself(hopefully I am not the only one),and would really like to use rcbot to warm up before clan matches, etc.I know that there are alot of people out there that wants to start playing competitively, but are not given the chance. This is where rcbot comes in.I would like everyone in the forum to make some suggestions that we can discuss with Cheeseh to make rcbot function better for competitive matches. Here are some of the suggestions I thought of,and I do not know how much of them can actually be implemented; 1)Bots hold choke points on the map,and have better map control(defend flank positions, etc) 2)Medics should heal more, and give the player control of their uber(as ive said in my previous post).Medics shouldnt even have to attack at all, because in most cases the medic's only priorty in competitive play is healing and ubering.Control of the medics uber would make matches more "realistic",because teams can then push and defend points with their ubers. 3)Certain classes must defend and attack certain map points(maybe something like class specific waypoints?) 4)a Team must only push when a majority of the other team is down, for example their demo and their medic. 5)Last/final control points must be defended by all of the classes, except for the scouts that push for second last(think badlands here).Currently, the last control points are left too open and are too easy to cap. That's only a few of the things that I would like to see bieng implemented into the bot. Please provide some feedback and suggestions how we could make this possible Thanks |
