Hurray TF2 beta! But it don't work for me!

First time it loaded fine and then eventually it got extremely laggy (FPS drop) and then got so much drop in the framerate it just simply froze.

Second time it wouldn't load because some file must had got corrupt, kept getting some locked vertex DX8 error, deleted all *dx*.dll's in the steam folder and in all games folder, deleted clientregistry.blob and the appupdate.blob and restarted it, it loaded but froze again after a few seconds. Kept trying, then it crashed before it loaded into the game. Finally tried it again on the LOWEST video card settings and on a small window so I could see what's happening...

Ok lowest settings...

ok it's loaded!, after about 1 minute in game...

Ooops! Not enough Memory! I am using 256 mb video card and got 1 GB ram, ... Not even enough mem to put the clipboard into MSPAINT!! Whats the deal? enough ranting and upgrading... again..

youll need a bigger PSU soon!

i do believe if you wait a month or 3 on your processor youll be able to get an AMD K10 phenom processor running in AM2 mode. maybe even a quad core.

Its a barebone rig, I dunno if my motherboard would support those processors :S I think i can upgrade the PSU though, I guess i could steal one from my old pc, a 400ish wattage, but its still pretty high ratings for "300W"

it supports the Athlon X2 BE-2350 (DD) processor I dunno what difference in speed that is to 5600+ (max supported that I could see on the mobo support page)

ill have to get a new motherboard if i want to upgrade my processor ever. blegh! have to get new ram too. and i got 3 gig so itll be expensive to get another 3 gig of ram, damn it!

unfortunately the new K10s arent compatible with 939s, only AM2s. lol

and your motherboard SHOULD support it after a firmware flash. just the chip wont run to its max capability, it'll run in a slightly slower mode.
