I when through your install guild (very helpfull) and got into the game only for it to tell me rcbot was a bad command. So i ran the "meta list" like it said in the FAQ and it gave me the bad path message. I did the only thing the faq said, chage "/" to "\". No dice.
I followed the intall directions to the T. I have ns 3.5beta5 or what ever the latest version is, and i have the latest meta mod thing out of the install thread. Whats wrong? =[ |

Might wanna paste your liblist.gam in here too! To see if you made any mistakes in it.. cause that seems to be the most common problem

1) Look in the rcbot\botprofiles folder for numbered .ini files. Each one has a skill level for 25 different bot names. Edit the skill level there. 2) Simple, you can't. Bots are capped at level 10 and can not go any higher. |

by default from rcbot 1.3 1.ini ( yours may appear slightly different )
Is that not the bots general skill level? |

yeah thats what i was looking for, do i just copy and paste that into the profile? The profile looks like what sandman posted. Oh, another problem. When ever im running bots and someone, or i bring down the console in NS, the game pauses and i haft to bring the console down and up again to get things going again. As you can guess people joining my server REALLY dont like That. i uped there skill to 70 - 100, they are still dumb as shit and the aliens still sit and camp there hive. |

all the aliens are joining the gorge as a squad and the gorge basically sits there waiting for resources, I guess it's a bit of a bug I should fix sometime
i mean seriously!:P http://rcbot.bots-united.com/botprofiles.htm |

im a nood (obviously) how the heck do you make the game time for combat maps longer than 10min? sv_timelimit 999 / 0 does nothing.
and how do you turn the auto team balance off for the bots. now the marines are just standing aroudn in base! edit: nope, aliens still camp base on co_core, but the marines attack. Im thinking it has something to do with the "You are attacking" or "You are deffending" thing. Do you know how to turn that off? |

make sure that you are definitly using the *LATEST* waypoints!
To remove bot squads use "rcbot squad_menu" then remove bot squads in "more" btw the cvar you're looking for is "mp_combattime" I think, or it's something along those lines anyway |
