I've noticed the waypoints page wont upload waypoints right, I need to sort out the permissions...
So I think a forum will also be good for requesting and submitting waypoints so I made these forums, use them well
If anyone has any waypoint requests for mods supported by rcbot, you must supply the following information.
Please post:
1) name of the mod
2) name of the map
3) if it's a custom map, a link to the map (very important)
Failure to follow these 3 simple rules may get your request ignored or denied.
Nedded waypoints for:
1) name of the mod: Natural Selection V2.01
2) name of the maps:
ns_depths.bsp
ns_fahkikko.bsp
ns_osmsiege.bsp

I have a playable waypoint for ns_fahkikko. Interesting map but I hope you have a great video card for this one. The marine bots play it fairly well but the aliens stuggle with it.
I took a look at ns_depths and i'm sorry to report that this map is just not waypointable for any bot let alone rcbot. Bots in general can't use func_trains and rcbots just can't climb walls at all.
But anyway, here is the ns_fahkikko waypoint. Let me know how they do.

Yeah, bots don't move in the readyroom. They just use the F1 and F2 functions there waiting for slots for them to join teams.
Try making these changes in your listenserver.cfg. It should clear that up.

zodiac, I suppose you are aware that the current version of rcbot does not properly support combat mode. Kind of a waste of time waypointing maps for rcbot if they can't play it, don't you think?
In the meen-time, why not use http://www.whichbot.com for your combat mode only server? Whichbots fully support combat mode, including waypoints for almost all ns 3.0 default combat maps.
ummm apart from the fact they dont upgrade they play a pretty mean game in combat. Its funny to watch them actually hide and lie in wait for the whichbot aliens.
Will/is there be any changes to RcBot to support Combat or is that just on the wishlist??

Sandman[SA], why would you throw me over to using a Whichbot?
#1 Whichbot does not include autospawning min and max bots, I have to start them manually from the console, great if I was sitting there for every game to add them in, rcbot has this function.
#2 Whichbot will not respawn when there is a map change. He will only continues to spawn if it is the same map. RRCBOT has this function.
#3 Why not port the functionality of Whichbot to RCBOT for COMBAT? RCBOT already has the cool features that Whichbot does not. I do not understand why the COMBAT functionality can not be built into RCBOT??
Is this not possible to build into RCBOT? It seems to me like the Waypoints are the only holdup otherwise they work fine. Am I asking for the impossible here? If Whichbot can do it RCBOT certainly CAN do it.

Afterall just using the Whichbot Waypoints for RCBOT has improved the Aliens team 100%, why can't the same be done for the Marines.
I can not say that I am not disappointed guys. I am really having a hard time knowing where you are coming from on this. It does not add up. You really have something here, and you cannot say that you have not thought about this because RCBOT 1.3 comes with the waypoint for co_angst which works great.
I want to be anything but a pain in the ass here but I want to understand why COMBAT is not being supported by you guys and you would rather me use another bot for COMBAT when it seems you guys have the power to easily nip this.
I'm confused. "If it's not broke, don't fix it" does not work these days guys, you have to stay up on the cutting edge, or be left behind.
I Georank at 30 so I see alot of players, I have already committed the exposure on the Game and on my Website, please do not let me down by telling me that you don't support this usage.

Gruuunt, what are you using for Waypoints in COMBAT? Also what are you setting in the server.cfg to do both of the tasks that were mentioned previously for wb? What is the skill level that you have the bots set for? I set my Bot skill level to 85 on all of them. I am using the wb waypoints presently that are not panning out presently. If you have custom Waypoints for your COMBAT server post em over. Thanks
The only maps that I am using that are not wb are co_angst (comes with rcbot 1.3) and co_rebirth (off this forum Thanks to BigBadWolf)

Okay, I'll take on co_level because it is a final version. I should have something for you later this evening.
*edit* Okay, here is a waypoint for co_level. I put a path threw the lift area on level2 but not sure how it's going to work out. Let me know if it causes you any problems and I will remove it.

I removed the elevator entrance point at level2 and made some path changes on level2 to help them avoid bunching up there. Re-download for the update.

I think cheeseh needs to haras the site owners again about the download links. In the meantime, I will setup a mass waypoint pack soon.

Im not really setup for Sven Coop. I usually only do NS and TFC. I had it installed but after installing ESF mod, it overwrote the fmod.dll with an older version and now I can't load SC anymore. Keeps giving me that stupid client.dll error.
Anyone here have fmod.dll version 3.7 or better that they can share?
Also, I don't use 7zip. I only use winzip and winrar.
