i had think about waypointing and the idea i had to edit easily is to use the ammos selection .
i mean crowbar , pistol are selected by a menu so a good change would be to select the waypoint_operation via this graphic menu instead of a serie of numbers ;]
i wish positive idea will help the menu creation and a fast creation of files

It'd require tons of coding to redo that, and it would only serve NS... RCBot runs on quite a few HL mods, and redoing it like that would probably require even more coding to get waypointing to work again on the other mods.

you must be hard to live LordSkitch : few mods is seven
http://rcbot.bots-united.com/
but as you are Moderator i think you joke ;]
my idea seem to me simple if you see it as a translation : eah option of waypointing can be showed as an icon in ammos_menu . rcbot.dll just needs few changes i believe . i had made this topic for all users of this forum to help programmers to find the design of the new waypointing_ammos . peraps a coop_waypointing could be imagined ;]

Well, you code it, or atleast write the algorithms to incorporate it into the existing code, without interfering with the systems already in place tongue.gif

i think he means like garrys mod for half life 2
what he means(i think) is that say a shotgun could be added to a group menu which when you shoot instead of bellets a waypoint is fired to what he aimed at
however i never been right and probs will not be starting a change here

What I was figuring he wanted was you sit in the comm chair and push a button and a cursor comes up, then you click on the map and it drops a waypoint.

If that's the case, some places would be unwaypointable due to the geometry of maps and you can't always click exactly where you want to, some places are hidden from the comm, and a lot of times tunnels and vents and whatnot are under the floor and you'll never be able to waypoint those.
