Installation Instructions:

Place the .rcw file you have downloaded into your "C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\<username>\rcbot2\waypoints\team fortress 2\tf" folder to install the waypoints.

General Information:

These waypoints will support every bot class fully including engineer sentry, dispenser and teleporter points. Snipers are also fully supported. The waypoints will also be very optimized, so you can hopefully play with more bots for better performance.

If you have any custom map waypoint requests (Only CTF maps at the moment please!), please post in here. I am also looking for a couple of people to test my waypoints before release for any bugs (bots getting stuck on the environment, etc), if you are interested - "please post here".

http://www.filefront.com/13945364/RCBot2_0.4.4.zip

The cp_well or cp_badlands won't work correctly with 0.4.4 if that's what you are thinking - you will need to wait for the next version.

Some of the waypoints lead to the wrong files now. e.g. cp_badlands

Filefront doesn't seem to be uploading files correctly - does anyone know of any good free file hosting websites?

Thanks.

pl_goldrush needs to use a script + area only waypoints + areas on sentry wpts/resupply wpts etc...

also noblueteam / noredteam wpts should only be in spawn areas

I don't think I'll be updating my waypoints anymore - I don't have enough time for this and PeZBOT. sad.gif

The reason I had the noredteam waypoints outside of the spawn was to keep the red bots a bit away from the spawn doors.

That would mean that someone would need to either make new waypoints for the maps you've done, or just modify your waypoints to match the current demands. But I ain't doing Hoodoo. I did it already and 3-Stage Payloads can be quite a bitch to script biggrin.gif

Tell me about it, upon the start of Hoodoo's scripting, all the bots started hopping like Scouts after too much bonk! due to a error in scripting, banning ALL waypoints in that Stage. After I did a fix, BLU team moved, but RED didn't. Then I found out the cause. Then I gave each stage unique areas, and gave the givetypes their own areas. Then I checked your Goldrush and found out that I don't need to give each stage unique areas, only their givetypes. I facepalmed pretty hard. biggrin.gif

haha. Yeah you only need to give waypoints areas if they have a flag on them already, e.g. sentry/sniper/route/areaonly etc... although the areaonly waypoint is only for routing so the bots don't go thorugh a particular waypoint when it may be blocked (e.g. in badwater/goldrush when the red doors close at spawns)
