I did waypoint ns_osmsiege and it seems to play ok. ns_commandmissle is NOT waypointable because the bots can not climb walls or fly, sorry.
I will look at the others when I get a chance. But here is a waypoint file for ns_osmsiege. Attached File(s) ns_osmsiege.zip ( 2.72k ) Number of downloads: 177 |

I don't know what to tell ya cheeseh. It may have something to do with why the aliens can't climb or decend on ladders or can't climb walls. Maybe I should try some flying waypoints again and see how they do with rcb 1.2?

Just wondered if you could tweek this one a bit for me, i've done pretty much all of the ground work but there are a few problem areas. I haven't touched most of the vents either as i was too tired.
The map is ns_rampage and you should be able to get it at http://nsworld.ns-central.co.uk/Main.php here is the rcw too. There was one "opens later" waypoint i put in too, behind a weldable door, is that the right way to do it? You should see it next to a res point. Thanks |2usty Attached File(s) ns_rampage.zip ( 3.83k ) Number of downloads: 162 |

Ok, ns_rampage looks like a great maps for bots and it looks good too. I may just add this map to my server. |2usty did a fair job on the waypoints but I did find some areas that could use some improvements so I went ahead and made them.
While I was at it, I finally had a look at ns_stargate-xt9 and it falls into the same catagory as ns_commandmissle1. It is currently not playable by rcbot because they can not fly or climb over high walls. Attached File(s) ns_rampage_rcw.zip ( 4.13k ) Number of downloads: 171 |

I don't know if you caught my earlier post but if you re-did the waypoints from scratch for whichbot, you didn't need to. Just rename the rcw to a wpt.
Either way it's blaspemy talkin about wb in here hahaha. |

It's not a complete re-do but what I did do is added all the vents and other alternitive paths spacificly for whichbot.
I do waypoint rcbot and whichbot differently because rcbot can not patrole vents (yet) and both manage ladders in a completely different fashion. |

Ok i have another one for you now Sandman, i have done about half maybe less at a guees but the bot's are doin good so far. The map is fairly big and looks to be a good one, i ignored all the lifts and stuck to the ladders 'cos i was being a lazy ba$%&rd and thought you'd appreciate the challenge too I had a look around and couldn't find any ready made rcw's for it so decided to take it on (and then palm it off ).
Thanks: |2usty Map is called ns_Cilrais URL=http://members.lycos.co.uk/eliteguard/list.htm And it'd be nice if the zip worked here, im starting to wonder if it's my end or not (yes i am drinking again cheeseh ) Added the cilrais rcw cos the zip just wasn't playing the game. Ok. I will look into it when I have some time.
You do realize, this is another NS 1.x map, right? These maps don't work correctly in NS 2.x (onos gets traped, marines can't upgrade sometimes) and it gets even worse in NS 3.0. BTW, I do have this map in my archives here. http://www.killerz.dns2go.com/nsmaps.php |

Ok, here it is. This is not a pretty map to wpt by any meens but the bots should not be trapped anyware. Including that 30 mile long vent system if you decide to relocate in there. What an awful map, how did this get released?

OK, i had a look in your archives Sandman and decided to waypoint ns_mazion_b5, i wasn't sure if you'd done the waypoints already and i couldn't find any either.
If you wan't to tidy it up at all it's here.(i've done all of the vents but i havent joined them to the main run, thought you could wb those) Anyone else interested in this map can find it here: http://www.killerz.dns2go.com/nsmaps.php Attached File(s) ns_mazion_b5.rcw ( 8.74k ) Number of downloads: 13 |
