Yes, you can download and install new maps and then download and install waypoints to go with those maps, givin that the maps in question have been waypointed. And if no waypoints can be found for said map/s, feel free to post a request for a waypoint and a link to where were we can get the map. |

waypoints are rcw files not rcv files
rcv files are for making visiblity and are generated |

do the maps have to be rcw (i think thats wut there called). like ns_siege005.rcw and i cant find any maps that are rcv already but if i do find it do i have to replace the map i have already downloaded for ns.
ex. if i have ns_siege005 downloaded from a server in my ns folder and i find ns_siege.rcv and put it in the rcbot/ns folder do i have to put the rcv in my half-life/ns/maps folder also to replace the ns_siege005 that i already have downloaded |

No, you are confused.
Say you download a map (ns_siege007.bsp for example) from another server and you want to play this map with bots on your own server. The map is to stay where it is and does not need to be replaced unless it was corupted or incomplete. What you should do now is visit RCbot home page and click the waypoints link or visit the RCbot waypoints for NS board in this forum. If for some reason, you still can't find the waypoints your looking for then start a new thread in the RCbot waypoints board requesting waypoints for the map in question and if possable, a link to where we can also get this map. All RCbot waypoints for RCbot 1.0 and above will go in the half-life/rcbot/waypoints/<mod of choice> folder, NOT in your ns/maps folder. |

Are to bots moving at all or just not going to the commanders waypoint at random points of the map? It would also help us help your better if you can tell us what version of NS and RCbot your using. |

Sorry cheeseh, I found his problem to be an out-dated waypoint file. |
