Hi,
I started waypointing dod_longestday_b5 but I can't get working this situtation:
IPB Image

Bots don't place bomb here at this (I've set there waypoint and set it capture + also there is waypoint before this which is set to bombs where bots can pick up bomb).

Maybe capture only works on standart DODs tanks, cannons ? Or am I doing something wrong? I am beginner at waypointing...

I haven't ever touched DOD:S, but maybe the bomb maps need a .rcs file to work.

That's a script for the bots.

For example, TF2 uses them for Control Point, Payload and Payload Race maps.

You don't need a script for dod:s as they have a different behaviour from tf2 .

Ok I've had a look at this map, and yes , at the moment "capture only works on standard DODs tanks and cannons". Although I will work with this map to add a new waypoint type e.g. a Bomb_To_open waypoint

Allies needs to pick then plant the bombs to those barb wires in order get through and then plant bombs on certain objectives. There's also a wall I think that needs to be destroyed by planting bombs.

As for dod_caen type of maps there are also walls that needed to be destroyed by planting bombs on them.

I've been working on getting the bots to place bombs that are blocking paths which is working well.

Just need to work on them taking cover before the explosion, instead of blowing themselves up.
