Is FAS playable now? seems development of this mod is too slow now or it's almost dead.
I think a lot of it's player base had already shifted to Ins.

Yes, in FA:S servers still alive, with sufficient number of players. In FA:S I like weapons, sounds, fast gameplay and color gamma

well if I see something really interesting to this mod in the future I'll definitely check it out. Ions ago i used to play FA original and it has an awesome bot that marine bot but it has a freakin aimbot.

I tell yah guys insurgency is the way to go now... the amount of free content is growing by the day. The coop maps alone made by enthusiastic highly talented mappers are simply astounding as if I'm playing tons of hl1 sp mods like the good old days except no sci fi weapons and aliens running around this time hehe which is really good....and the AI is freaking horrific. 6-8 players most of the time gets beaten here haha which is really really good! You can play them alone and there are configs to allow how many AI enemies you can handle and it's all about stealth and covering everything and not always go rambo mode haha!

This game will improve even more as their obligated to do so now since it's gone commercial so it has a good clear future. You can go to their youtube channel (insurgencygame) and try watch some of their streams to learn how passionate their devs are...AND THAT MY FRIENDS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT ONE!
Game devs that truly cares to their community especially the creative ones...it's like 2000-2002 again hehe.

This game keeps getting better and better the more I play it online, I am to hehe!
People actually doing objectives more now.

Bots are doing great on PUSH mode seems devs have coded them quite well for this game mode.
Attacking bots will attack really hard and defending bots will do defend cap A and moves to B when A is captured and so on.
