"micmacx" has revived some old favorites for DoD:s dedicated servers that help manage RCBots.

Original author was FeuerSturm and the set of plugins gradually broke, they have been reworked.
AutoTeamBlancer / HPK / AFK Manager / Class Restrictions etc......with lots of features for Day of Defeat: Source!

The last one is new.

What that does is solve the issue where running RCBot2 and using the class limits, the server spits out errors and crashes.

These are the commands that limit class in dod:s servers...

The issue:
The bots will sit in spawn as a rifleman and the server gives this error spamming hundreds of them...

Tying to add too many axis respawn waves
Trying to add too many allies respawn waves


This will continue and only around 4 bots make it on the server, the rest are stuck in spawn throwing up many errors per second.
The server eventually crashes.

In testing if you have the plugin running the issue stops.
The bots, while sitting in spawn get a AFK kick and that stops the errors, eventually the bots adhere to the server class restrictions.

I would say it would work for Linux and Windows, my tests so far on windows... it seems to have solved that issue.


So if you have been struggling with 3 MGer's per side on some maps and want a solution to (finally) limit the classes with RCBot2, you should test that plugin in post 13.
