Hey there, first post.

I just got hooked on Natural Selection.

I'm running WhichBot for Aliens with no problems.

I upgraded my Linux server to the Beta version of RCBot since I couldn't get the older version to ever be stable with the latest NS server.

Now the bots run but they don't shoot at aliens.

They track aliens and aim at them, but never shoot.

Also, I can't do a
CODE
rcbot addbot
command in the server.cfg. It'll crash the server. If I wait for the map to be loaded I can call the command with no problems.

I'm guessing that I need to upgrade to 1.4, but of course there's no Linux version available yet.

So, either could we get the Linux compile done? Or could I get the source code to do the build myself?

Thanks!

the source has always been available (Not updated though) http://filebase.bots-united.com/index.php?action=file&id=204 if you want to try yourself, there are some compile errors in Linux though so you have to mess around with some files. Some people got a linux version working around the forum, maybe try asking them for a .so file.

Already got it compiled and shared myself actually... see the other thread:
