Yes, I did use search, before you ask.

I'm a avid user of RCBot and I think the bot's awesome considering the amount of mods it's programmed for. But I think you really need to sort out how you post waypoints, because it took me an hour to find updated waypoints for all the NS maps (I started off reading individual threads, until I got bored and searched, and eventually found most of them).

I think you need a more organised way of posting waypoints. What our bot team does (Marine-Bot for Firearms, for which I am the head waypointer) is post waypoints for each map in a seperate thread. eg all ns_eclipse waypoints would be posted under a thread titled 'ns_eclipse'. Thus, it saves you having to look through pages of search results, as it should just come up with one thread with the most recent waypoints in.

[e] And also keeping the waypoints section of the website up-to-date might be a nice idea too wink.gif

It's up to the waypoint authors what they want to do, if they want their waypoints noticed they should make a new thread with the name of the map etc. etc. Or reply in a current thread with the name of the map.

Oh, yeah I can't keep the waypoints page on the site updated atm because of file permission problems my host is having. I don't have any control over that.

I see, that's fair enough. MB has an official waypointing team and so we have to stick to the rules. dry.gif

If I had a better internet connection, and a separate webserver instead of doing all of my servery stuff on one server, I'd offer to host RCBots for you! lol laugh.gif

sure I could probably elect a waypoint moderator that would like to sprouse up our waypoint forum now and again, renaming subjects to map names, pinning good threads etc. wink.gif

Ok, ok. So I haven't been doing my part to it's fullest. Some of the newest NS waypoints have now been pinned including some waypoint packs.
