Well I got them installed
 Now i need to know how i can get my friend to havea admin access, his name is Quads and i'd like the password to be rawr, can anyone give me an example, the readmes are just confusing |

well the easy way is that he has the rcbot program on his pc, hl directory/ns.
then this has to be in the bot_users.ini, open in notepad. (name in quotes) (password (no spaces)) (accesslevel) e.g. "John" johns_pass 10 the access lvl can be found in the manuals folder, or here: http://rcbot.bots-united.com/accesslev.htm thsi is pretty easy. if not ill give you a ini file by e-mail to ya. try not letting ppl the usernames and passes to any by the way. |

or you can use steam Id as well, so you have
<name for reference> <password (anything in here)> <access level> <steam id> "John" "-" 63 STEAM_x:x:xx... get access level from that page liger_xt5 wrote above  |

well yeah I did that non steam id example,
"Quads" rawr 10 but does he need to type anything casue he couldn't addbots, we'll try again and i'll edit but is there anything he needs to do, he already has rcbot installed n such. Edit, doesn't work! please tell me any commands he needs to put in or anything im doing wrong other than "Quads" rawr 46 |

nah skitcheh  that would only work if there is a steam id. . the user Quads needs to use "rcbot set_pass <password>" before accessing (e.g. rcbot set_pass rawr ) on his console |

ya i forgot about the steam id idea. i dont use the steam id thing since the only ppl that play with me on my server is my nephu.
he and i are in the same house on the same network, LAN other wise i would be using 256k connection and some ppl would lagg. the only reason i can see that would be a problem is either: 1 you got something in the bot_users.ini set wrong 2 question: does he have the same version of the bots in his hl or ns ( cant remember wich it has to be ) directiory. if not, thers your answer otherwise you got me  |

I'll try what cheeseh said and yes he does have the same kind of rcbots so if that doesn't work, i'm not sure i'll tell ya the results later.
