Hi,
I don't know if I'm posting on the good place, but I have a problem with the rcbots with versions 0.71 and 0.72: They spawn normally, they go anywhere on the map, they shoot when they see another player.. but they only look in a single direction. This is what is written in the console : *** Can't open Waypoint belief array for reading! And this repeat this line each time a bot is joining the game.. Could someone help me please? Thanks |

Kindly pls post your entire config.ini settings. It's located here if you're using winxp... C:\Documents and Settings\username\rcbot2\config |

Bingo! LoL!
There's your problem, this 2 lines... rcbot_skill 0,6 rcbot_anglespeed 0,16 change the commas to period and save...like so... rcbot_skill 0.6 rcbot_anglespeed 0.16 It should work now. Seems there's a small little bug on the installer. |

Yes, strange it is..
The launcher changes those lines everytime I use it.. And if I change the lines during the game, the bots still don't aim in others directions. Thanks for the help by the way If you have a solution, it would be kind of you to tell me. |

@Zero...as Cheeseh mentioned try update or reinstall your...
- net framework 3.5 - 4.0 ...4.0 is for win7 and above i think. - visual c++ google them...their availbale via microsoft site. Try set your config.in after editing it to READ ONLY. You may also try bypass the rcbot2 launcher and just load the game normally via steam menu but just make sure "-insecure" is added to your dods launch option. Once ingame just add bots using the console command... rcbot addbot or better bind that like... bind f4 "rcbot addbot" |

I found a solution with your help.
I just use the launcher and then, in game, I use the console to change the values of anglespeed and skill (0,16->0.16 and 0,6=>0.6). Thank you for all. |
