This may have been asked before but i couldn't find it after numerous searches, but how do you open an "opens later" waypoint? I've started waypointing my own co map(co_hasntgotanameyetcositsnotfinished) and i have a door which opens when all three switches are pressed(located around the map) i can only guess that it would be really hard for the bots to go out and press those switches themselves but with human players they wouldnt have to.

At the moment, it seems that if i have an opens later flag on a waypoint the bots just stand around doing nothing :S. I've also tried waypointing another map, "ns_sample", taken from the tutorial site, its really short etc so i thought it'd be a good place to start... there is a door there which i have put an opens later waypoint next to and the same thing happens there although the bots can be told to build things and seem to be able to find the things they've been told to build very well.

Thanks in advance for any help

O - normal waypoint
O - opens later waypoint
| - door that opens later

O-------O-------O-----|-----O--------O--------O

When it opens, the path'll be complete and they'll use it.. it's pretty impressive at the speed they determine it's opened too!

Ah! So all i need to do is put an "opens later" point either side of the door? now it makes sense, i'll have to try it.

Thanks LordSkitch
