I'm currently working on a Sourcemod plugin to provide co-op style gameplay (humans forced to blu; bots to red with an equal number of humans and bots at all times) but I've hit a snag - RCbot2 seems to have stability issues.

Even with a completely clean server installation (no Sourcemod etc.) it still crashes after 10-15mins of gameplay, seemingly at random. This is with a varying number of humans and bots, and it even happens in 1v1.

The installation is definitely set up properly - everything works perfectly until srcds silently crashes. I've also tried without pyro/sniper (I remember reading that they're buggy).

Any ideas as to what could be causing it?

Unbelievably simple fix - the server has to have fpx_max set to a client-like value, such as 60.

250 and above crashed, and I haven't tried anything between 60 and 250.

This should really be added to the official SRCDS installation instructions (if they exist tongue.gif)

1:1 ration of humans bots is unfair 1:1.5-2 is much better and also more fun on the 0.3 release i had a friend set up a server and stick all bots on 1 team (10 of them) v us we camped intel on 2fort with sentrys they didnt stand a chance biggrin.gif

Turns out it isn't fixed.

As soon as there is more than one human or bot, the crashes become very common (roughly every 5-10 minutes), but with 1 human vs. 1 bot, it rarely (if ever) crashes.

I'm currently testing the unofficial "0.4.1" build - I'll let you the results of that soon.

Hows the plugin doing at the moment?
